Conduct Services in Dorchester for Curtiss Man

Dorchester --Funeral services for Irvin Bernsee, 29, Curtiss, who died Thursday, June 30, at Superior hospital, Superior, Wis., following a five-year illness, were conducted Tuesday afternoon. The services were held at 1:30 o'clock at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Salem Evangelical Church at Dorchester. The Rev. James M. LeCount officiated at the rites and burial was made in Pine Hill Cemetery at Curtiss.
Mr. Bernsee was born Jan. 14, 1909, at Curtiss, Town of Hoard, and was married June 10. 1931, to Miss Rosalind Wild. He had lived in the Town of Holway practically all his life, and since his marriage he had engaged in farming. Surviving are his wife and three children, Marjorie, Bertha, and Ruth, all at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Joe (Edna) Kowalewski, Town of Holway, and Mrs. Albert (Edith) Ortlieb, Town of Little Black, and his father William, who resides at Curtiss, Town of Hoard, also survive. His mother (Bertha) preceded him in death 11 years ago.
