Born November 25, 1916 at Braggadocio, Mo., Mrs. Lemond was a daughter of the late William Earnest Cagle and Lottie March Kirksey Cagle.
William Thomas Lemond and she were united in marriage at Caruthersville in 1935. He preceded her in death August 21, 1991.
A member of the First Baptist Church in Hayti, Mo., she was a bookkeeper and had worked for Nethery Lumber Comnpany for many years. Mrs. Lemond leaves five brothers: Willard Cagle and James Cagle, both of Caruthersville, Gerald Cagle of Rockingham, N.C., Kenneth Cagle of Irwin, Pa., and Lonnie Cagle of Caruthersville; and Two sisters: Alberta Robertson of Qulin, Mo. and Katheryn Hazel of El Campo, Texas.Funeral services for Mrs. Lemond were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 1997, in the John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti, with Rev. Bill Wolfe officiating.
Burial was at Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville with John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti in charge.
