She attended school in Black Oak, Arkansas.
In 1914 she was united in marriage to Mr. William Earnest Cagle in Caruthersville, Mo. He preceded her in death in October 1954.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Caruthersville, Mo.
Survivors include: three daughters, Ione Lemond of Hayti, Mo., Alberta Robertson of Qulin, Mo. and Katheryn Hazel of El Campo, Tx.; five sons, Willard Cagle and James Cagle both of Caruthersville, Mo., Gerald Cagle of Rockingham, North Carolina, Kenneth Cagle of Irwin, Penn. and Lonnie Cagle of Caruthersville, Mo.; one brother, Leon Kirksey of Malden, Mo.; 22 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 18 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Cagle had a total of 90 living descendents.
Services were held December 4, 1996 at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. James F. Pinkerton officiating. Interment was in the Maple Cemetery.
