Mrs. Florence was born Jan. 16, 1886, in Porterville, a daughter of Willard Richard and Elizabeth Roberts Mikesell.
She was married to Frederick Arthur Florence on Nov. 16, 1905, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She moved from Perterville to Morgan in 1856.
She had taught Primary in the Porterville LDS Ward for 30 years and had been a teacher in the Sunday School and Relief Society. She had served as president of the YWMIA and Primary. She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers and Morgan County Senior Citizens Committee.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters and one son, Mrs Sarah Myrtle Reed Kershaw, Bloomfield, N.M.; Mrs Charles (Stella) Robinson, Ogden; Joseph Arthur Florence, Porterville; 16 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers and one sister, Joseph Mikesell, Samuel Mikesell, Mrs. Pearl Smith, all of Porterville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Morgan Stake Center with Bishop Francis P. Webster officiating.
Friends my call at the Walker Mortuary in Morgan Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday prior to services. Burial in South Morgan Cemetery.
