Columbia - WADE J. CLAYTON, 50, of 2631 Glenwood Road, died Saturday morning at his home. Mr. CLAYTON was born at Campobello. He was the son of SIMON P. and MAUDE JOHNSON CLAYTON. He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of
Holly Springs Baptist Church near Campobello. Surviving are: his wife, IDA BABB CLAYTON; one step-daughter, KAY LITTLE; TWO SISTERS, Mrs. DELLA MAE NEIGHBORS of Spartanburg and Mrs. RUTH CLARY of Campobello: five brothers, LEON and GERALD of Campobello, PAUL of Spartanburg, MACK of Wichita, Kansas, and BASCO CLAYTON of Detroit. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p. m. Monday at Holly Springs Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 3 p. m. Monday. Paschal Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge.
