Clarence Arnold Beverforden born August 2, 1926, at his home in Allen County, Indiana. He died November 19, 1999 at his home in Granada Hills, California. He married Genevieve Joann Wolf at St. Jude Catholic Church in 1947. he served in the Army Air Corp during WWII and trained as a fighter pilot. He worked at General Electric as a tool maker, and attended Indiana Tech. They moved with their 3 children to Sylmar, California in 1959. He worked as an aerospace design engineer for Jet Propulsion Laboratories, General Instruments, and TRW Aerospace (which has been bought by Northrup-Grumman). Retiring from TRW Aerospace in 1996 at the age of 70. He is survived by daughters, Cynthia Beverforden and Diane B Nielson, and son C. David Beverforden; sisters Virginia Robbins, Florence Brubaker, Gladys Beverforden, Gloria Killion, Ruth Barth, and Jayne Beverforden, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Christian Beverforden, and Alma Ellen (Souder) Beverforden and sisters Jeanette Butz, and Bernice Fennig. He spent his life protecting America.
