MRS. DELLA ROWELL.

Mrs. Della Rowell passed away at Mt. Pleasant Saturday August 29, aged 59 years and 4 days. The body was brought to Grinnell yesterday for interment in Hazelwood cemetery, W. C. Wasser conducting brief services at the grave.

Mrs. Rowell was born Della Craver, daughter of Samuel P. and Elizabeth, at Forest Home, August 25, 1861. Following the death of her mother she came to Grinnell to live with her brother, T. B. Craver, and attended school here and grew to young womanhood here. She was married in Grinnell and much of her active life was spent here.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Ulrich, of Ackma, Oregon, and a sister, Mrs. C. M. Thomas, of this city.

Mrs. Rowell was a student in Grinnell college and was a beautiful, intellectual young woman. There are many relatives and friends to mourn her death.
