Arlene "Oo" Rice, 80, Campbellsville, daughter of the late W. J. Rice and Nelle Fisher Rice, born in Taylor County, April 8, 1910, died at 7:45 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 1990 in Campbellsville after an extended illness. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a retired employee of the Farmers Home Administration. She is survived by one sister and one brother, Genevieve Jeter and Howard Rice, both of Campbellsville; three nieces and three nephews, Kathy Wells, Jane Jeter, and Jane Miller, all of Campbellsville, Randy Rice, Baton Rouge, La., Richard Crouch, San Diego, Ca., and Howard Henry Rice, Montgomery, Al.; several other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister, Garnett J. Rice and Vallie Crouch. The funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, June 4 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville with Dr. Patrick E. McDowell officiating. Burial was in the Elkhorn Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wayne Wells, Rob Wells, Bill Edwards, Jim Miller, Walter Milby, and Dr. Eugene Shively.
