Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday June 14, in the chapel of the H.F. Moritz Funeral Home, Montebello for Mrs. Mary Bell Foster, 84 years of age, who resided at 128 South Spruce Street Montebello, California. The Reverend John Tigner, Paster of Park Avenue Christian Church Montebello, officiated with the Rev. Russell Barber, Pastor of The Pico Rivera Christian Church.
Mrs. John Tigner, soloist accompanied by Mrs. Barbara Williams, organist, sang, "Beyond The Sunset", and "Oh, I want to see him" Interment was made in Rose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Whittier, Calif.
Mrs. Foster was born on August 21, 1882, in Trenton, Mo., and died on June 11, in a Montebello Hospital following an illiness of several weeks. She had resided in Montebello for the last twenty eight years. She had spent most of her life in Trenton. She was a member of the Park Avenue Christian Church.
Surviving Mrs. Foster are her daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Alice) Watson, Mrs. Kenneth (Lydia) Adams, and Mrs. Alberta Clark all of Montebello. She also leaves nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandhildren and one great great grandhild, her sister Mrs. Dora Newkirk of Montebello, Calif., and her brother Walter Criswell of Trenton.
