Peter John Raden died at his residence, 303 West 5th St., on last Sunday morning, January 12, 1919, at about 6:30, of grippal pheumonia. He had been ill for about 15 days; but it was only towards the last that serious concern was felt as to his eventual recovery.
The remains were taken to St. Cloud, MN for interment, leaving White Bear on Sunday evening.
Mr. Raden's former home was in St. Cloud, where his parents and family still live. A sister died in St. Cloud about six weeks ago; so that the family have been twice bereaved in a short time.
The deceased came to White Bear about four years ago, and has resided here since that time, with his wife and little baby. He was foreman or superintendent of the Lake and Road improvement for Ramsey County at White Bear, and was quite well known here, where he had many friends.
Peter was born September 3, 1883 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to parents John Raden (Germany) and Mary Naerath (Germany). He was married. His occupation was Supt. of Lake and Road Improvement in Ramsey County. He died at White Bear, Ramsey County and was buried at St. Cloud. Information was supplied by John Raden.
