WILLIAM J. RADEN, SR.
William J. Raden, Sr., 62, 503 6th Ave. N., a retired employee of the Northern States Power Co., died Thursday. He was born June 28, 1903 in Chokio, MN.
Mr. Raden is survived by his widow, Hilda, and the following children: Mrs. Victor (Joyce) Hengel, Jr. and Thomas, St. Cloud; Carol, Collette and James, at home; Mrs. Mark (Rosalie) Faerber, Alexandria MN; Jerome, Armed Services at Ft. Sam Houston TX; and William Jr., Air Force, Kingsley Field OR. There are 10 grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. J.P. Otto and Mrs. Mayme Collins, St. Cloud, also survive.
Mr. Raden retired from the Northern States Power Co. April 30, 1962. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 622 and retired secretary of the St. Cloud Bowling Assn. with which he had been associated for 18 years.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. from Holy Angels Church.
Friends may call at the Daniel Funeral Home, 7th Ave. N., after 7:00 p.m. Saturday.
William was born June 28, 1903 in Chokio, Minnesota to parents John Raden and Mary Neirath. He was married to Hilda Yaeger. They were residents of St. Cloud. His occupation was Accountant, Northern States Power. He died May 19, 1966 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud and was buried at the Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud.
