Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Funeral Chapel in Iola for Pauline T. Swinney, 79, formerly of Topeka, who died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, at a care center in Helena, Mont.
She was born Sept. 18, 1919, in Iola, to Charles S. and Lula B. Cooper Bair. She lived in Iola before she recently moved to Montana after she became ill.
She married Lowell Swinney May 4, 1941. They lived in Hutchinson many years and also in Salina, Manhattan and Wamego and then in Topeka. He died July 5, 1996.
Survivors include a son, Bruce Swinney, Helena, Mont.; a brother, Charles Bair, Dolores, Colo.; sisters, Frances Perkins, Missoula, Mont., Maxine Garver, Yates Center, Lula Bell Smith, Iola, and Betty Madill, Wichita; a grandson and a granddaughter.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Iola.
