Names of three more Pulaski youths, Pfc. Hereford C. Beshears, Pvt. Otis C. Bray and Pvt. Ray Floyd, have been inscribed on the county's Gold Star Honor Roll, during the past week. This makes a total of 144 county youths who have given their lives in World War II.
Mrs. Ira Beshears of Naomi was informed this week that her son, Pfc. Hereford C. Beshears was killed in action on April 25. In March she was notified by the War Department that he had been wounded in Manilla February 22. He was a popular young man of excellent character and his death came as a shock to relatives and friends.
