Harold Beshears, 53, Dayton, Ohio, and formerly of Wayne County, died Wednesday, February 11, at Kettering Memorial Hospital, Dayton, after a short illness.

Born in the Bud community in Wayne County, he was the son of John and Iva Ard Beshears, both of whom survive.

Other survivors include his wife, the former Pauline Pyles, whom he married in 1950 at Richmond, Indiana; three children, Judy Beshears, Mrs. Linda Fields and Rick Beshears, all of Dayton; a stepson, Michael Milthaler, Dayton; a brother, Bert Beshears, Brookville, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Correll of the Frazier community in Wayne County, Mrs. Sethel Weaver and Mrs. Dean Norfleet, both of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Mrs. Aline Sturgill, Brookville, Ohio.

He was the owner and operator of Harold Beshears Construction Company. He was a veteran of World War II.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, February 15 at Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Calvin Terry and Rev. Lloyd Williamson officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at Pulaski Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Saturday.
