Born October 31, 1934 in the Naomi community of Nancy, he was the son of the late John Morgan and Iva Ard Beshears.
Survivors include three sisters, Dean Norfleet of Miamisburg, Ohio and Sylvia Correll and Sethel Weaver, both of Somerset; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Herford Beshears, Harold Beshears and Wade Beshears; and one sister, Aliene Sturgell.
He was a building contractor and a Korean War Marine Veteran.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 12 at the chapel of New Brothers Funeral Home with Bro. Clyde Struck officiating. Burial was in Mill Springs Cemetery in Nancy.
