Homer, was born in the Hickman Mills, Mo. area and was the son of Joesph P. Russell [73669753] and Mary [Gieger] Russell [73670584] who are buried in High Prarie Cemetery in S. E. Kansas. He was 1 of 9 children. All of his Brother's and Sister's are deceased now. Homer Married Sarah Leona Hamill on Dec. 26th. 1900 in Wilson Co. Ks. Born to them were 6 Children. 4 Girls and 2 Boys. Nellie Bernetta, Mary Elisbeth, Susie, Argyle, Joesph P. & Daisy Arlene. I do not have any other Info on Leona other than she was a home maker and raised a large family.
They left their farming community in the area known as Pleasant Valley (Township) southwest of Chanute Ks. in 1945 and moved to Topnish, Washington where had other members of their family living and they lived in that area until their death.
