Mrs. Mary Meinert, 90, of 640 4th St., Kiel, died early this morning at her home after an illness of three months.
Born Dec. 25, 1872, in Mequon, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Klauck. She attended Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic school in Kiel, and worked for a number of years in Milwaukee.

She was married on May 18, 1898 to John Meinert of Kiel. The couple lived in Kiel where Mr. Meinert operated a grain business. He died in 1940.

Mrs. Meinert was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Kiel, and was a charter member of the Chistian Mothers Society of the church.

Surviving are two daughters, Miss Edwina of Kiel and Mrs. Edward (Lorain) Stahl of Sheboygan; two sons, John and Harvey of Kiel; five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Benjamin of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by two sisters and ten brothers.

Funeral services will be held at Ss. Peter and Paul Church at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, following brief rites at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home at 9 a.m., The Rev. George Kiefer, pastor of Ss. Peter and Paul Church, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home from 3 p.m. Monday until time of services Tuesday. The Christian Mothers Society will recite the rosary at the funeral home at 8:15 p.m. Monday.
