Pratt- Fern H. Gimpel, 78, died Aug. 31, 1995, at Pratt Regional Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 1, 1916, at Osborne, the daughter of Ola C. and Golda Frazier Busby. A Pratt resident for more than forty five years, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Long Circle of the church.
On October 27, 1939, she married W.J. Gimpel at Pratt. He survives.
Other survivors include; five sons, Norman C., Phoenix, and John C., Richard B., Edward L. and Ronald D., all of Pratt; two daughters, Carol A. Kelly, Roanoke, Va., and Nancy J. Hayes, Pratt; two brothers, Leonard Busby, Liberal, and Leon Busby, Midwest City, Okla.; four sisters, Ardis Brack, Burrton, Ethel Sparke, Kinsley, Lela Sharp, Aberdeen, Wash., and Agnes Kesterson, Corona, Calif.; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Pratt, with the Rev. Keith Jacobsen presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Ayres-Calbeck Mortuary, Pratt. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.--from Hutchinson (KS) News.
