Ardis grew up in Rooks county and Haviland, Kansas, and after their marriage lived in Kinsley, Wilroads Garden, Dodge City, Hutchinson and Burrton.

Burrton- Ardis M. Brack, 73, died March 10, 1997, at Mt. Hope Nursing Home, Mt. Hope.
Born April 25, 1923, at Natoma, the daughter of Ola and Goldie (Frazier) Busby, she married Ernest Brack, June 18, 1948, at Clayton, N.M. He preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1989.
She was a Southwestern Bell telephone operator and office manager.
She was a member of Burrton United Methodist Church and Telephone Pioneers of America.
Survivors include: two sons, Gerald, Hutchinson, and Harold, Burrton; three daughters, Gay Spencer, El Dorado, Brenda Diehl, Burrton, and Cheryl Freeman, Wichita; two brothers, Leon Busby, Midwest City, Okla., and Leonard Busby, Liberal; three sisters, Ethel Sparke, Kinsley, Agnes Kesterson, Corona, Calif., and Lela Sharp, Aberdeen, Wash.; five grandchildren: and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 2 p.m., Thursday, at Burrton United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Roland Wolfe Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Burrton Cemetery.--from Dodge City (KS) Globe, 3-1-1997
