Mrs. Irene N. Watson, 54, former Pratt resident, died Monday at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, after a long illness. Born Feb. 17, 1918, at Oakley, she was married to Merle Watson March 23, 1940, at Hutchinson. She lived at Wellington several years.
She was a member of the Friends Church, Haviland.
Survivors include the widower; daughters, Mrs. Becky Mai, Wellington; Mrs. Judy Moore, Denver, Colo.; brothers: Leonard Busby, Liberal; Harvey Busby, Corona, Calif.; Leon Busby, Oklahoma City, Okla.; sisters: Mrs. Fern Gimpel, Pratt; Mrs. Wretha Ahrens, Greensburg; Mrs. Ardis Brack, Dodge City; Mrs. Agnes Kesterson, Corona, Calif.; Mrs. Lela Jaycox, Aberdeen, Wash.; Mrs. Ethel Sparke, Kinsley; Mrs. Elaine Clawson, Pawnee Rock; three grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ayres-Calbeck Mortuary, Pratt; Rev. Roger Huffman. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.--Hutchinson (KS) News, Wed. 1-10-1973
