Weston, Mrs. Irene (Popp), New Port Richey, Florida
Former resident of Bridgeport passed away at New Port Richey, Fla. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 1980. Age 75 years. Irene Visger was born Oct. 22, 1904, in Midland coming to Saginaw as a young lady. She was married here to Carl Popp in 1922. He passed away in 1952. She then was married to Chester Weston in 1965. He passed away in 1977. She had been employed by the Michigan Bean Co. and later by the Home for the Aged for many years. Surviving are seven children, Mrs. Norma Young, New Port Richey, Fla.; Mrs. Dorothy Davenport, Richard Popp, Herbert Popp, Mrs. George (Margerie) Sanderson, James Popp, Mrs. Nancy Woodall, all of Saginaw; 25 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one step-son, Wilfred Weston, Bridgeport; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Miller, Freeland.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Case Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway.
