Caroline McKillip Walker was the daughter of Daniel McKillip and Nancy Lawson. She married George Stingley Walker, son of Jacob Walker and Milia Stingley, on Nov. 12, 1849 in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. They migrated to Mohonet, Illinois from Battleground, Indiana in 1869. They had 7 Children: Marvin Elwood, Malissa Ann, Nancy Louisa,Willis Cline , Luella, Fredrick Sherman, and Birdy Walker. She died of Typhoid Fever, October 18, 1874. Buried Shiloh Cemetery, Mohonet, Illinois. Her son Birdy Walker died at age 4 is buried next to her. Her husband moved to Moran, Kansas. It is said he remarried twice, but I don't know to whom. It was reported that he stated that he married one angel and two devils.
