Mrs. Anna M. Stallbaumer, 90, Seneca, KS, died late Friday, (July 7,1972) in a Marysville rest home where she had been a resident since September, 1969.

She was born August 28, 1881, in Nemaha County where she spent most of her life, the daughter of Herman and Anna Schulte Engelken. She lived in the community southwest of St. Benedict many years before she moved to Seneca in 1955.

She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the St. Ann's Altar Society at the church.

She was married to William Edward Stallbaumer on August 28, 1900, at St. Benedict. (It was a double wedding with her sister, Elizabeth and George Stallbaumer, who was William's brother). William died in 1927.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Doris Stallbaumer, Irene Fangman and Marcella Rottinghaus; sisters, Elizabeth Stallbaumer, Helen Rettele, Clara Haug; brothers, Benedict Engelken, John H. Engelken and Joseph Engelken.

Survivors are sons, Walter Stallbaumer, Sylvester Stallbaumer, Norbert Stallbaumer, Eugene Stallbaumer, all of Seneca; Melvin Stallbaumer, Corning, KS; Victor Stallbaumer and Paul Stallbaumer, Baileyville, KS; daughters, Mrs Paul (Florence) Fangman, Seneca, KS; Mrs. John (Edna) Sack, Corning, KS; Mrs. William (Alma) Sack, Denver, CO; and Mrs. Paul (Mary Ann) Huninghake, Baileyville, KS; brothers Andrew Engelken and Albert Engelken, Seneca,KS; Leo Engelken, Kansas City, MO; sister, Mrs. Margaret Hammes, Baileyville, KS; 74 grandchildren; 150 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Chruch, Seneca, KS. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, St. Benedict, KS.
