Mrs. Amanda Dovich, 65, of St. Paul, former Berthold resident died Tuesday in a Minot hospital. She was in Berthold last weekend to attend the 90th birthday open house of her sister. Mrs. Annie Kleven, and became ill and entered the hospital on Monday.

Funerals will be Thursday at I0:30 a. m. in Zion Lutheran Church, Minot, and Monday in Arlington Hills Lutheran Church in St Paul. Burial will be in Fort Snelling Mendota, Minn.

Amanda O. Johnson was born May l, 1898 at Reynolds, a daughter of Anton and Oline Johnson. In 1905 she, carne with her family to a homestead in Shealey Township, Ward County, south c! Berthold„ where she was reared. She married Michael J. Dovich May 17, 1922 in Minot and they moved to St. Paul. He died in 1952.

She is survived by sons, Eldon, Seattle, and Denver E, St. Paul; daughters, Mildred Schriber and Joyce Clark, both St. Paul, Yvonne Dovich, Burnsville, Minn.; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Annie Kleven, Minot; step-brother, Lawrence Hagen, Berthold; step sisters, Kleona Spalla, Minot, Adeline Gunderson, Makoti; half-brothers, Bloyd, Roland, Ronald, Arnold, Leonard, Alvin and Willard Johnson all Minot, Melvin Johnson, Williston.
