O.J. "Bud" Black, 24, of Petersburg, died at 7:39 p.m. Saturday at his residence.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hurley Funeral Home, Petersburg, and burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Petersburg.

Surviving are his wife, Carol; one daughter, Becky, at home; two sons, Joey and Bobbie, both at home; his mother Harriet of Springfield; seven sisters, Mrs. Jennie Forsyth, Mrs. Eva Fink, Mrs. Loraine Bissell and Mrs. Eileen Wilson, all of Springfield, Mrs. Clara Slane of Biloxi, Miss., Mrs. Fern Burnett of Cantrall and Mrs. Mildred Staten of Carol, Mich.; and three brothers, Paul of California, Edward of Springfield, and Harold of Portland, Ore.
