She was born Jan. 17, 1935, in Springfield, the daughter of Obra Benjamin and Harriet Isabell DuPont Black. She married John Cecil Wilson Sr. in 1960.
Mrs. Wilson, a lifelong resident of Springfield, retired in 1994 from the State of Illinois Print Shop where she had been employed as a clerk.
Survivors: husband, John C. Wilson Sr.; three daughters; two sons; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Jenny Painter; two brothers, Ed Black and Harold Black.
Services: Staab Funeral Home. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
