DEATH: MARY KATHRYN ANDERSON LOTHRUP
Mary Kathryn Anderson Lothrop, age 77, passed away July 25, 1995 in Salt Lake City.
Born November 15, 1917 to Edwin Hyrum Anderson and Emma Johanna Strand in Duboise, Idaho. She married and later divorced. She served a mission for the LDS Church in Sweden and later worked in the Swedish extraction program for the church. A graduate of BYU, she taught elementary school in the Granite School District for many years and was much loved by her students. She has spent her life in service to her family and friends. Everyone has been touched by her compassion and generosity. She will be missed by family, friends and all who knew her.Survived by five sisters, Carolyn Elzinga, Lily Van Dyke, Enid Nordgran, Betty (Bryant) Rossiter, Lee (Vernon) Holm; brother, Curtis (Charlotte) Anderson; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 29, at 2 p.m. at Lake Hills Memorial Estates, 10055 So. State, where family and friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment will immediately follow services at the same location under the direction of Memorial Estates.
