A family member with many names, she was married to James Cruse, Jan 15, 1874 in Lawrence Co, OH under the name of Doratha Search, and they were the parents of at least 11 children, 3 of which died in infancy.
Her husband, James Cruse, died of a brain tumor on Apr 19, 1890 in Perry County, Ohio at the age of 36 yrs 9 mos 27 ds. After the death of James, Tabitha Arilla Cruse was then married to Jefferson Martin on Sept 13, 1913 in Jackson County, Ohio using her name of Arilla Cruse. She died under the name of Dorcia A Martin in Jackson County, on 17 Jul 1915 and is buried under her name of Dorkus Cruise Martin in the Fairmount Cemetery there.
The many names she used were, Dorcas/Dorkus, Tabitha, Doratha, Dorothy, Dorcey, Arilla, Rilla...probably more.
