BEGLAU, SALOMON*
Salomon Beglau, 80, of Sacramento, died Friday in a Sacramento Convalescent hospital following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Beglau was born and raised in North Dakota. He married Margaret Reiswig in Lodi in 1932. She died in 1974 and Mr. Beglau then married Ida Salems who died in 1982. He was a farmer and sang in the church choir.
He is survived by two daughters, Del Grimm and Shirley Bowman, both of Sacramento; one son, Harvey Beglau of Sacramento; three brothers, Jake Beglau and Dave Beglau, both of Lodi and Ben Beglau of Santa Rosa; one sister, Tillie Haas of Lodi, nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Cherokee Memorial Park with the re. Gordon Elmes of Century Assembly officiating. Visitation will be held at Lodi Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
