BEGLAU, DAVID D.
David Beglau, 84, of Lodi, died Monday at a local hospital after a sudden illness.
Mr. Beglau was born and raised in North Dakota. He moved to Lodi with his family in 1921. He was a carpenter and belonged to the Carpenters Union, Local #1418. He also was a member of the Senior Citizens Group of Lodi. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and traveling.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, John Beglau, Robert Beglau, Reinhold Beglau and Sam Beglau; and one sister, Mary Kuest. He is survived by one daughter, Alvina Fromm of Ceres; one son, David Beglau of Lodi; two brothers, Jake Beglau of Lodi and Benjamin Beglau of Santa Rosa; one sister, Tillie Schauer of Lodi; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Lodi Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Anthonie Wessels of Fairmont Seventh-day Adventist Church officiating. Visitation will be held at Lodi Funeral Home after noon today until noon Thursday.
