“Upvalley Rancher Found Dead in Bed
Mrs. Annie Murray and Mrs. Herman Muller of Napa, arriving at the home of their brother, Henry Madison, late Wednesday, found the Wooden Valley rancher dead in his bed.
Coroner T. J. Teadway said Madison had apparently died Monday, and that death had been the result of a heart ailment complicated by an attack of influenza.
A native of Napa, Madison is survived by three other sisters, Mrs. Wirt White of Wooden Valley, Mrs. Amy Johnson of Burlingame, and Mrs. Isabelle Griggs of Oakland, and a brother, J. B. Henderson of Los Gatos.
Funeral services were held yesterday in St. John’s Catholic church under the auspices of the Webber Funeral Parlors.” END
