Victim of Diphtheria
Sidney Robert LaVerne eleven year
old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Akers,
of Audubon township, died at the fam
ily home on Sunday, June 3. The
cause of death was diphtheria and
followed an illness of short duration.
He is survived by the parents, five
sisters and seven brothers.
The remains were laid to rest in
Oakfield cemetery.
Tho he sleeps beneath the soil
And his spirit rests above,
He shall never be forgotten
For his kindness and love.
