Ruby M. Adams

East Prairie, MO - Ruby M. Adams, 86, died at 8:05 a.m. June 12, 2002, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.

Born May 15, 1916, in New Madrid County, daughter of the late Charlie and Elgie M. Carter Presson, she lived in Mississippi County most of her life and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Sikeston.
In 1945, she married Marshall L. Adams who preceded her in death in February 1989.

Survivors include: two sons, Wayne Adams and David E. Adams; one daughter, Louetta Grigery; and seven grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Pearl Adams; and three brothers and three sisters.

Visitation was at Shelby Funeral Home, where services were scheduled. Gaylon Butler, of the Christian Family Church in Miner, officiated.
Burial followed in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
Pallbearers were: Randy Ingole, Shawn Carr, Aaron Grigery, Les Grigery, Timothy Grigery, Mark Adams, Richard L. Adams and David E. Adams.
