Louetta Grigery, age 82, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at Delta South Nursing and Rehabilitation in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was born September 27, 1937 in East Prairie, Missouri, daughter of the late Sylvester Gray and Ruby Presson Adams. She was of the Pentecostal belief and had worked as a cook at Matthews Elementary School for 7 years before retiring.

She was married to Robert Leslie 'Les' Grigery on April 10, 1955 at East Prairie, he survives of the home in Sikeston.

Other survivors include: one son, Timothy Shain (Penny Lee) Grigery of Sikeston; one daughter, Christy Michelle (Michael) Haney of Sikeston; two brothers, David Adams and Wayne Adams; five grandchildren, Timothy Dale Grigery, Chelsea Nichol Grigery, Tiffany Brooke (Brad) Ryan, Shaina Lynne (Cord) Cooper, and Nathan McKenzie Haney; and three great-grandchildren, Dakota Ryan, Colton Lane Grigery, and Alexis Ryan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Leslie Aaron Grigery; and one sister, Carolyn Adams.

There will be a funeral service for family members on Thursday, March 26, at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Followed by a public graveside service at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston. The Rev. Gaylon Butler, retired Pentecostal minister, will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Haney, Tim Grigery, Cord Cooper, Michael Haney, Brad Ryan, and Timmy Grigery.
