He was born September 20, 1945, in East Prairie, MO, the late Marshall L. Adams and Ruby M. Presson Adams. Wayne had lived in East Prairie most of his life where he was employed as a truck driver. He moved to Arlington, KY a few years ago and was of Pentecostal belief.
Surviving is his son, Mark (Laura) Adams of East Prairie; his grandchildren, Keaton Adams, Kelsey McKinney and Donald Hazelwood; two great grandchildren; his brother, David Adams of East Prairie and a number of other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Carolyn Pearl Adams and Louetta Grigery.
Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 7, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Ted Wimberley will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
