Mrs. Nora Dickey

Grantsville--Mrs. Nora Jane Dickey, 81, of Nicut, Calhoun County, died Sunday morning at the Charleston General Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born in Clay County, a daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret Sampson. She was a member of The Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Tressie McCoy of Nicut, and Mrs. Mabel King of Orma; a son, Ray Dickey of Nicut; three half brothers, Homer Sampson of Shock, and Curt and Harvey Sampson, both of Nicut; and three half sisters, Mrs. Lougene Knopp of Parkersburg, and Mrs. Hallie Rider and Mrs. Ocie King, both of Nicut.

Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Ebinezer Baptist Church at Orma, with the Rev. John Alfred officiating. Burial will be in the Bailey Cemetery, Nicut.

Friends may call at The Stump Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. today.
