MRS. SANDLIN CALLED TODAY

Mrs. M. M. Sandlin, 80, beloved Morgan County matron, died at 2 o'clock this morning at her home, Decatur Route 2, near Priceville, after a long illness.

Funeral rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church, on Somerville Road, by the Rev. Lannie Smallwood. Burial at Crow Cemetery will be directed by Brown, of Decatur.

Mrs Sandlin had been an active and devoted member of the Antioch Church since a young girl.

She is survived by seven sons, J. W., J. Street and Herman Sandlin, Decatur; Phil and Neal Sandlin, Decatur Route 2; Edgar Sandlin, Route 1, Chickasha, Okla., and J. M. Sandlin, Duncan, Okla; five daughters, Mrs G. J. Widener, Decatur; Mrs J. M. Sams, Mrs J. F. Dillehay, Mrs Isaac Clendenning and Mrs J. M. Wilkerson, Decatur Route 2.

Twenty-six grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.

Grandsons of Mrs Sandlin will be pallbearers and flowers will be in charge of granddaughters.

Lovable, kindly, a devoted Christian and member of one of the county's best known families, Mrs Sandlin's death today was mourned by persons in every section of Morgan.
