Funeral services for Phillip W. Sandlin, 83, who died Friday in a local rest home, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Fifth Avenue Baptist church, Rev. Edwin Hodges officiating, with burial in Decatur Cemetery, Guntharp Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Lola Sandlin, Decatur; two sons, Daniel Sandlin, Decatur and Joe Sandlin, Columbus, Ohio; three daughters, Margaret Sandlin, Decatur; Virginia Sandlin, Columbus, Ohio and Mrs. Wanda Walt, Flushing, Mich; a brother, Neil Sandlin, Brighton, Colo; a sister, Mrs. Olie Clendenon, Decatur; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
