David Seigle Estrick / Eastright was born in Allegheny Township, Huntingdon County (became Blair County in 1846), Pennsylvania on August 2, 1831 to A-3, John Seigle and Mary Sarah Faushey Estrick / Eastright (Faushey may be spelled wrong, I believe it's spelled Forshey). David's father, John, was one of the brothers who changed his last name from Estrick to Eastright in the late 1840s. John's brothers changed the spelling to either Eastright or Estright. David met his wife Sarah Jane Hart while working on her father's farm as a laborer (in later years David became a carpenter). They married on November 3, 1850 by J. L. Slentz Esq., in Allegheny Township, Blair County, Pennsylvania. Jane, as her family and friends called her, was born on March 13, 1833 to Ezra Ellis and Mary Laura Westover Hart Sr. in Newry, Blair County, Pennsylvania. Jane died on January 5, 1877 in Allegheny Township. Her place of burial is unknown. It is possible she is buried in Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville, Blair County for it is where most of the Hart family is buried. David's second marriage was to Henrietta Beigle in Altoona, 1879. Nettie, as her family and friends called her, was born in Blair County in 1854 to Israel and Mary Beigle. David and Nettie moved to Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania sometime in 1883. Three of David's children went with them. The J. F. Diffenbacher's Directory of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County Cities in 1884 had David living at Pennsylvania Avenue and Nineteenth Street when he fell off a ladder and died instantly on November 11, 1891. His death certificate states the cause of death was a brain concussion. David is buried at Allegheny Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Section 17, Row B, Spot 54. There wasn't a headstone therefore I place one at his grave. David and Sarah Jane had 11 children. There were no children with Nettie.
