He married Edith "Pearl" Loar on July 7, 1956 in San Pedro, Los Angeles, California. To this union five chidren were born. Pearl preceded him in death on July 29, 1991. He married Mirriam Ann Leavitt Lester on November 24, 1991 in Las Vegas, Clark, Nevada.
