Rosella Kasper Cox, 89, of 330 State St., died Saturday, July 27, at the residence of her daughter, with whom she lived.
She was born on Feb. 2, 1907, in Madison, the daughter of Charles N. and Matilda Geyman Kasper. She was a homemaker and a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Mary Jane Furnish and one son, Sonny Cox, both of Madison; two sisters, Mary Loos of Indianapolis and Teresa Claxton of Franklin; three brothers, Herman Kasper, of Dayton, Ohio, Charles Kasper of Florida and John Kasper of Madison; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur Cox in 1992; four sisters, Anna Hughes, Marcella Zubaty, Jeannie Kasper, and Pauline Kasper; two brothers, Matthew Kasper and William M. Kasper; and four grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the Vail-Holt Funeral Home Madison Chapel, and from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
