Mrs. William Ready Dead
Young Wife and Mother Passed Away in St. Vincent's Hospital Last Night

Word was received by relatives in this city late last night of the death of Mrs. William Ready, which occurred at St. Vincent's hospital, at 10:30 o'clock last night shortly following the birth of a son, who expired a brief time after birth.
Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Ready as Miss Pauline Kasper, of this city. She was born in Madison and was in her 25th years. She was educated in St. Mary's parochial schools and was graduated from St. Mary's commercial department. For some time prior to her marriage she was employed by an Indianapolis firm as bookkeeper and stenographer. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church in this city and was active in its various departments during her residence here.
Mrs. Ready was a sweet and lovable young woman, possessed of a happy and charitable disposition and made many friends wherever she went. Her passing has caused wide-spread sorrow among all who knew her and the sincere sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved family in its deep sorrow. She was united in marriage to Mr. Ready last July, their marriage taking place in this city in St. Mary's church.
Besides her bereaved husband and parents, Mrs. Ready leaves to mourn their loss several brothers and sisters and also many friends. Mr. and Mrs. C.N. Kasper, who have been at her bed-side since Sunday morning will arrive in this city tomorrow morning accompanied by Mr. Ready. The remains of Mrs. Ready will arrive here tomorrow evening and will be taken to the Kasper home at 510 east Main street. Funeral services will be held in St. Mary's church at 9:30 o'clock Thursday morning, following which the remains will be placed in the vault in St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery on north Walnut street, pending the arrival of her brother, Mr. Matt Kasper, who has been in California for the past few months and who is enroute home.
The Herald joins the many friends of the bereaved family in extending profound sympathy in the hour of deepest sorrow.

Funeral of Mrs. Wm. Ready

Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Kasper Ready, wife of Mr. William Ready, of Indianapolis, who passed away Monday night at St. Vincent's hospital, were held at 9:30 o'clock this morning in St. Mary's Catholic Church and were attended by an unusually large gathering of sorrowing and sympathizing friends and relatives. The many beautiful floral offerings gave mute evidence of the love and esteem in which the deceased was held by a wide circle of friends both in Indianapolis and Madison.
A Solemn High Mass was celebrated by Rev. George Pohl for the repose of the soul of the decedent and he was assisted by Rev. Anthony Kasper, of Greensburg, and Rev. Robert Lehnert, of Evansville. Following services at the church the remains were taken to St. Joseph's cemetery where they were placed in the vault pending the arrival of the decedent's brother, Mr. Matt Kasper, who is enroute from California.
The following friends served as pall-bearers: Messrs. William Hertz, Charles Hirst, Bernard Koehler, Clements Schoenstein, this cit, and William Schutte and Dr. Maurice Healey, of Indianapolis.
