Mrs. Charles M. Kasper Died This Morning at 10:30 O'clock After a Long Illness

After a year's illness with heart trouble and complications, Mrs. Matilda Geyman Kasper, wife of Mr. Charles N. Kasper, the East Second Street grocer, died at the family home at 10:30 o'clock this morning. Mrs. Kasper had been very low for sometimes and her death was not unexpected. She bore her long suffering with remarkable Christian fortitude and bravery and up to the very last, her thoughts were always for her devoted husband and four little children.

The decedent was 32 years of age and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Geyman, of near China. Besides her husband and parents and several brothers and sisters, Mrs. Kasper is survived by four little children, two girls, Rosella and Pauline, and two sons, William and Mathias. She was a member originally of St. Anthony's Church at China, but since her marriage and coming to Madison had held membership in St. Mary's Church, of which she was a devoted and faithful member until her failing health prevented. In her family, she was the kindest and best of wives and mothers and was idolized by her husband and children, besides having the highest regard of a wide circle of friends, who will deeply sympathize with the bereaved husband and little motherless children.

The time of the funeral has not been decided, but it will probably take place Monday from St. Mary's Church, the burial to be in the Walnut Street Cemetery.
