She was born Oct. 11, 1925, in Madison, the daughter of Charles N. and Laura Bloom Kasper. She and her husband owned Franklin Jewelers for 50 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Moose Lodge 17.
She is survived by three children, Sharon L. Straw, Michael G. Loos and William R. Loos; one sister, Teresa M. Claxton; two brothers, Charles Kasper and John Kasper; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald V. "Gus" Loos.
The funeral was at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave., Indianapolis. Mass of Christian burial was at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
