Jean Frances Kasper Dead
Young Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kasper Succumbed Following Brief Illness of Diphtheria
Jean Frances Kasper, bright young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles N. Kasper, passed away at the family home, 510 East Main Street, at nine o'clock last evening following a brief illness of diphtheria from which she had been suffering since last Friday.
The little girl would have been nine years old on May 4th and was a bright and happy child who made many friends during her few short years upon earth. She was beloved by all who knew her and was the center of affection in the household, her passing causing a vacancy in the family which can never be filled.
Jean was a member of St. Mary's church and was a pupil in the fourth grade of the school. The future seemed to hold much promise for her and her untimely passing is the source of deepest sorrow to all who knew her.
Surviving is her grief-stricken parents, five sisters: Mrs. Arthur Cox, city, Misses Marcella, Anna, Mary, and Theresa, living at home, and five brothers, Messrs. William Kasper, city; Matt, Charles Herman and John, all at home.
Private funeral services are to be held Saturday morning in St. Joseph's Cemetery with Mass tomorrow at 8:30 o'clock in St. Mary's Church.
Many friends join The Herald in extending to Mr. and Mrs. Kasper and family profound sympathy in the loss of their daughter and sister.
