Burlington Daily News (Burlington, Vermont) Wed, Feb 12, 1936

Hinesburg, Feb.12 (Special) ---Orrin D. Emmons died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bert Stokes of Hinesburg. He was born in New York state on August 15, 1854. Besides his widow, Mr. Emmons is survived in his immediate family by four sons, Bernard of Bristol; Arthur, Charles and Harold of Hinesburg; by two daughters, Mrs. May Place and Mrs. Bert Stokes of Hinesburg, and by 33 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Stokes. Interment will follow in the Barker cemetery.
