Hinesburg -- Mrs. May Place, 60, wife of Kiland Place, died in a Burlington Hospital last night. A native of Hinesburg, she was the daughter of Oren and Ella (White) Emmons. Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Rollin of Starksboro, Harold and Leon of Hinesburg; four daughters, Mrs. Curtis Morrill, Mrs. Leon O'Brien and Mrs. Carrol Clark, all of Hinesburg and Mrs. Clossen Collins of Burlington; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Four brothers and one sister also survive. They are Bernard Emmons of Bristol, Arthur, Charles and Harold Emmons of Hinesburg and Mrs. Adelbert Stokes of Burlington. Funeral services will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Morrill at 2 tomorrow afternoons. Interment will be in Hinesburg Cemetery.
