Burlington Daily News (Burlington, Vermont) Sat, Aug 26, 1939

Hinesburg -- Mrs. Luella White Emmons died last night after a long illness. Mrs. Emmons was born in Hinesburg, August 8, 1858. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock (D.S.T.) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Stoke. of this town. She is survived by four sons, Bernard Emmons of Bristol, Arthur, Charles, and Harold Emmons of Hinesburg and by two daughters. Mrs. Mary Place and Mrs. Stoke of Hinesburg, and by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
