AGED SERVIA RESIDENT DIED TUESDAY EVENING
JAMES RILEY MOTE died tuesday evening at 11:30 at his residence in Servia. He had been ill the past six months. The body was taken to the Bender Funeral home and returned to the Family residence Wednesday evening where friends may call. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Servia Congregational Church of which he was a member. The Rev. Franklin Orr will conduct the service and burieal will be in the Laketon cemetery. Mr Mote was a son of Mr. and Mrs Wesley Mote and was born near Wabash Sept. 26, 1868. He married Dona Riner at Laketon February 25, 1890. She survives together with a daughter, Mrs Bertha Royer of Servia, 11 grand children, and 18 gt grandchildren. Four sons, Walter, Dewey, Ted, and Harry preceded him in death.
