A daughter of the late Philip and Ashby Crist Reno, she was born Oct 13, 1886, in Rockbridge. Surviving are a son, Ernest Close, St Louis MO, a daughter Mrs. Thelma Brooks, Jerseyville; a sister Mrs. Verna Alexander; four grandchildren and step grandchild. The body is at Jacoby Brothers Funeral Home where rites will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. after which interment will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
